We are currently recruiting for experienced Concrete Finishers to join a long term construction project based in Newcastle upon Tyne. The successful candidate will have proven experience working on large-scale concrete pours, structural concrete, slabs, and finishing works. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality concrete finishes while working safely and efficiently as part of an experienced site team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Concrete Finisher looking for consistent, long-term work on a major project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out all aspects of concrete finishing including:
- Power floating
- Hand finishing
- Trowelling
- Screeding
- Levelling and smoothing concrete surfaces
- Edging and detailing works
- Assist with large concrete pours and ensure finishes meet project specifications
- Prepare and maintain concrete surfaces to a high standard
- Work from drawings and site instructions where required
- Complete curing, protection, and finishing processes
- Support shuttering, formwork, and general concrete works when required
- Maintain high standards of health and safety
