We are appointing experienced Domestic Energy Assessors (DEA) with stock condition surveying experience to support a long-term residential surveying programme across Newcastle and the surrounding areas. The role involves completing EPCs and stock condition surveys across a mixed residential portfolio, with surveyors paid per completed survey.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete Domestic Energy Assessments (EPCs)
- Carry out residential stock condition surveys
- Assess building fabric, components, and services
- Identify defects and lifecycle condition
- Capture survey data digitally using handheld devices
- Take supporting photographic evidence
- Work to agreed daily productivity targets
- Follow safeguarding and access procedures
- Ensure all surveys meet audit and quality standards
Requirements
- Qualified Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA)
- Experience completing stock condition surveys
- Good understanding of residential construction
- Confident using digital survey software
- Enhanced DBS (valid and up to date)
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
