M&E Project Manager – Residential Projects Location: First 4-5 Weeks in Essex, near Benfleet, then Site-Based Salary: £70,000 – £75,000 + Travel Allowance + Bonus Scheme Job Type: Permanent About the Role: Keyman Recruitment is working with a rapidly growing M&E contractor that has built a strong reputation in the residential and commercial sectors. Due to significant expansion and a strong pipeline of projects, they are now looking for an experienced M&E Project Manager to join their team. This role will see you managing an M&E residential project, including apartments and care home development. The first 4-5 weeks will be spent in the Essex office for pre-construction, before moving to site. Benefits & Package: * Salary: £70,000 – £75,000 * Travel allowance provided * Bonus scheme in progress * 22 days holiday + 8 bank holidays * Site-based role after pre-construction phase Key Responsibilities: * Oversee M&E project delivery from pre-construction through to completion. * Manage budgets, schedules, and project milestones to ensure successful execution. * Work closely with the design team, subcontractors, and site staff. * Ensure health & safety compliance across all phases of the project. * Drive quality control and ensure installations meet industry standards. * Provide technical guidance and resolve any on-site issues efficiently. * Liaise with clients and key stakeholders to maintain strong relationships. Key Requirements: ✅ Proven experience as an M&E Project Manager with a strong residential background. ✅ Some commercial experience beneficial. ✅ Comfortable working on projects valued at £6M+. ✅ Strong understanding of mechanical & electrical services. ✅ Ability to manage MEP packages and oversee subcontractors. ✅ Strong financial and commercial awareness. ✅ Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.
