An Excellent Opportunity - Lead a Well-Established Children's Home. We are recruiting an experienced Registered Manager to lead a 4‐bedded Ofsted-regulated children's home in Marple, Stockport (SK2), supporting young people with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). This is an outstanding opportunity for a strong manager to take ownership of a stable, well‐established home with 3 children currently in placement, supported by a highly experienced senior leadership team.
The Role - What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the home
- Ensure Outstanding standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance
- Maintain full compliance with Children's Homes Regulations 2015 & Quality Standards
- Lead Ofsted inspections and continuous improvement
- Build a therapeutic, trauma-informed environment
- Recruit, develop, and supervise staff
- Build strong partnerships with local authorities, families, and professionals
- Drive quality, performance, and positive outcomes
Essential Requirements
- Previously held Ofsted registration within the last 2 years (children's residential)
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management – Residential Childcare (or working towards)
- Strong safeguarding & regulatory knowledge
- Confident leading Ofsted inspections & regulatory compliance
- Passion for therapeutic, trauma-informed care
