An Excellent Opportunity – Lead Two Supported Accommodation Services

We are recruiting an experienced Service Manager to lead two Ofsted-regulated supported accommodation homes in Macclesfield (SK10) and Edgeley, Stockport (SK3), supporting looked after children aged 16–18. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader to manage two small, stable services, each currently supporting one young person, with excellent senior leadership, HR, recruitment, and compliance support.

The Role – What You’ll Be Doing

  • Provide strong leadership across both supported accommodation services
  • Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and quality standards
  • Lead registrations, inspections, and regulatory processes
  • Maintain high safeguarding and child protection standards
  • Develop and implement therapeutic, trauma-informed care approaches
  • Lead staff recruitment, supervision, training, and performance management
  • Build strong partnerships with local authorities, professionals, and families
  • Drive service quality, development, and continuous improvement

Essential Requirements

  • Previously held Ofsted registration within the last 2 years in supported accommodation (16–18)
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or working towards)
  • Strong safeguarding & regulatory knowledge
  • Confident leading Ofsted inspections & compliance
  • Passion for therapeutic, trauma-informed care
