Contract - Senior Site / Setting Out Engineer – Loughborough Location: Loughborough, Leicestershire Contract: Contract Start Date: ASAP / Immediate Duration: Approx. 3 months KTS/Keyman Personnel are seeking an experienced Contract Senior Site / Setting Out Engineer for a large RC frame development in the Loughborough area on behalf of our client. This is a strong opportunity for an experienced, hands-on engineer with solid RC frame, setting out and Leica TS16 experience to join a busy project and work independently within an established site team. Strong practical experience using a Leica TS16 is essential for this position. The Opportunity As a Contract, Senior Site / Setting Out Engineer, you will be responsible for accurate setting out, surveying and engineering control across the works, ensuring construction is delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications and required quality standards. The successful engineer must be confident operating a Leica TS16 independently and comfortable working within a fast-paced RC frame environment. Key Responsibilities * Setting out and surveying for RC frame and associated groundworks * Confidently setting up and operating a Leica TS16 * Setting out foundations, structural concrete and associated works * Working accurately from engineering drawings and specifications * Checking line, level and positioning of works * Carrying out surveys and recording as-built information * Maintaining accurate site records and engineering documentation * Completing and supporting QA/QC documentation * Liaising with site managers, supervisors and construction teams * Identifying and resolving engineering issues on site * Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with relevant health and safety requirements Qualifications & Experience * Proven UK experience as a Senior Site Engineer / Site Engineer / Setting Out Engineer * Strong experience working on RC frame projects * Strong hands-on Leica TS16 experience is essential * Able to set up and operate a Leica TS16 confidently and independently * Strong setting out, levelling and surveying experience * Experience with groundworks, foundations and structural concrete * Experience producing and checking as-builts * Good understanding of site QA/QC procedures and engineering documentation * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings * Able to work independently within a busy site environment * Valid CSCS card * Relevant civil engineering qualification or equivalent experience Application Process If you are an experienced contract Senior Site / Setting Out Engineer with strong RC frame and Leica TS16 experience and are available to start immediately in the Loughborough area, please apply with your latest CV and details of your availability
