A well-established HVAC specialist is looking to appoint an Improver Air Conditioning & Ventilation Engineer to join their growing team. This role is suited to someone who is no longer at entry level and already has around 2 years’ hands-on experience working within air conditioning, ventilation, or wider HVAC environments. You will be confident assisting experienced engineers on site and keen to continue developing your technical skills.
The successful candidate will work alongside senior engineers, supporting the installation, maintenance, servicing, and repair of air conditioning and ventilation systems across commercial sites throughout London and the surrounding areas.
The Role:
- Installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems
- Working on commercial sites across London and surrounding areas
- Supporting senior engineers with planned and reactive works
- Assisting with fault finding and basic diagnostics
- Working on a range of HVAC and ventilation equipment
- Ensuring works are completed safely and to a high standard
- Continuing to develop your technical knowledge and site experience

The Candidate:
This position would suit an Improver Engineer who has already gained practical experience within the industry and is looking for the next step in their career. You should have:
- Around 2 years’ experience within air conditioning, ventilation, or HVAC
- Experience assisting with AC installation, maintenance, or servicing
- A basic HVAC / building services qualification or relevant hands-on experience
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Basic electrical knowledge
- A full UK driving licence
- A positive attitude and willingness to continue learning
- Good communication skills and a professional approach on site
Desirable but Not Essential:
- F-Gas certification
- CSCS card
- Experience working on VRF / VRV systems
- Experience on commercial sites
