Contract / Compliance Manager – Building Services (Gas Compliance) 📍 Location: Surrey (Hybrid – 1–2 days in office, remainder site/client-based) 💰 Salary: From £55,000 + £500/month car allowance or electric car salary sacrifice 📅 Holidays: 23 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays 📌 Job Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Role Keyman Recruitment is working with a well-established, Surrey-based building services provider supporting public buildings and housing associations. We are seeking a hands-on, experienced Contract / Compliance Manager to oversee a portfolio of small contracts and minor plant upgrade projects, while playing a key role in managing and developing the business\’s gas compliance operations. This is a hybrid role — typically 1–2 days per week in the office, with the remaining time spent on-site, meeting clients, engineers, and managing projects. Responsibilities: * Manage 3–4 small maintenance/service contracts day-to-day. * Oversee minor mechanical projects, including plant room upgrades. * Conduct site visits, attend client meetings, and liaise with engineers. * Lead and support gas compliance activities across the business. * Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards (Gas Safe, H&S, etc.). * Drive quality, safety, and operational standards across contracts. * Provide leadership and support to the mobile engineering team as required. * Contribute to the growth and development of service delivery standards. Requirements: * Proven experience as a Contract Manager, Compliance Manager, or similar role in building services. * Strong knowledge of gas compliance and regulatory standards. * Comfortable managing multiple contracts and minor works projects. * Effective communicator with excellent client-facing skills. * Able to work independently with strong problem-solving ability. * Full UK driving licence.
