We are currently recruiting for an experienced Foreman on behalf of a leading Highways Contractor, to oversee works on the Comberton Greenway Project in Coton, Cambridge.

The Role
You will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations on site, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This is a highways-focused scheme, primarily involving the creation of dedicated cycleways on existing highways, along with associated civil engineering works.
Project Scope includes:

Widening existing footpaths (either at the back or into the road)
*
Resurfacing local areas
*
Installation of speed bumps, signage, and road markings
*
Minor junction re-modelling
*
Overseeing supply chain partners delivering works on site
*
Supporting with occasional direct delivery (e.g., temporary basins, fencing setup)
Essential Requirements

SMSTS or SSSTS certification
*
Valid UK Driving Licence
*
Minimum 5 years’ groundworks experience
*
Strong IT skills (site diaries are maintained electronically)
