Estate Gardener – Private Estate (Ascot / Sunninghill area) Salary: £26,000 – £27,000 DOE Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 16:30 Contract: Permanent We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Estate Gardener to join a small team maintaining the grounds of a prestigious private estate in the Ascot / Sunninghill area. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a stunning environment, contributing to the care and presentation of a high-end property for an ultra-high-net-worth client. The Role As Estate Gardener, you will be responsible for a wide variety of horticultural and garden maintenance tasks. Day-to-day duties include: * General horticultural care and specialised maintenance across the estate grounds * Lawn care, border and plant maintenance * Pruning, trimming and seasonal planting * Use of garden machinery (training provided where necessary) * Sweeping and maintaining hard surfaces and garden furniture * Chemical applications and record keeping (PA1 & PA6 desirable, training can be provided) About You The ideal candidate will bring a cooperative and enthusiastic approach, along with a passion for horticulture. While prior experience in estate gardening is desirable, training and development will be provided for the right person. You will demonstrate: * A strong work ethic and attention to detail * Ability to work as part of a close-knit team and independently when required * Willingness to learn, take instruction and develop horticultural skills * High levels of integrity, discretion and professionalism * A proactive, can-do attitude and good time management Requirements: * Driving licence and own transport (essential, due to location) * PA1 & PA6 qualifications desirable (training can be provided) * Horticultural qualification or apprenticeship beneficial Benefits * Competitive salary: £26,000 – £27,000 DOE * 28 days holiday (including bank holidays) * Ongoing training and development opportunities If you’re a dedicated gardener looking to further your horticultural career in a unique and prestigious setting, we’d love to hear from you.
