We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Operations Manager to oversee our daily operations and ensure the efficient functioning of our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with various tools and equipment. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage multiple tasks while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Duties * Supervise daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness across all departments. * Coordinate with team members to assemble products using hand tools and power tools, ensuring adherence to specifications. * Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery, performing basic maintenance as needed. * Manage inventory levels, ensuring that all necessary materials are available for production. * Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the workplace. * Facilitate training sessions for staff on the use of tools, equipment, and safety practices. * Assist in heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring that all team members are following proper lifting techniques. * Maintain accurate records of operations, including production metrics and equipment maintenance logs. * Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall operational efficiency. * Sales and relationship management to win work from commercial and domestic clients * Taking oncall phone calls to help our team working OOH * Booking Jobs and other reporting on our internal company systems * H&S reporting and auditing of our engineers * Dealing with Customer Complaints Qualifications * Proven experience in an operations management role or similar position. * Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively. * Strong Computer Skills * Basic maths skills for inventory management and operational calculations. * Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently. * Valid commercial driving licence. * Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail. * Strong leadership abilities with effective communication skills to manage a diverse team. * Ability to carry out site visits and send quotations to clients for works If you are passionate about operational excellence and possess the necessary skills, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity as an Operations Manager
