The predicted salary is between 35000 - 45000 Β£ per year.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Crane Supervisor to join a major construction project.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year's experience working as a Crane Supervisor on construction projects.
  • Valid CPCS A62 Crane Supervisor card.
  • IPAF 3a & 3b certification is essential.
  • Good understanding of BS7121, LOLER and lifting operations.
  • Ability to read and work from lifting plans and RAMS.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience coordinating crane operators, slinger/signallers and site teams.
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of health and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise all lifting operations in accordance with approved lifting plans.
  • Coordinate lifting activities with site management, crane operators and subcontractors.
  • Conduct pre-lift briefings and ensure all personnel understand the lifting operation.
  • Monitor lifting activities to ensure compliance with BS7121, LOLER and site procedures.
  • Inspect lifting accessories and ensure certification is in date.
  • Maintain exclusion zones and monitor site conditions throughout lifting operations.
  • Stop any unsafe lifting activities and implement corrective actions where required.
  • Complete all relevant lifting documentation and reports.
  • Promote a positive health and safety culture across the site.
