Working for a Cladding/Roofing Contractor. We are looking for a Contracts Manager to join their team. As a Contracts Manager will oversee the comprehensive management of multiple contracts, focusing on the efficient, safe, and regulatory-compliant execution of site activities. This role involves close coordination between on-site operations and office management, requiring strong communication skills and meticulous attention to detail. The Contracts Manager serves as the primary point of contact for the projects they manage, ensuring seamless communication and execution across all stages of the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities 1. Site Documentation and Compliance: * Prepare and distribute site documentation, including Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS), Health & Safety paperwork, drawings, and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs). * Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and regulatory requirements. 2. Project Management: * Oversee the long-term and daily operations of projects, ensuring they adhere to project design, timelines, and safety regulations. * Manage all aspects of project life cycles, including programming, design, procurement, site establishment, installation, handover, and aftercare. 3. Team and Resource Management: * Manage contracts supervisors and operatives, ensuring effective communication and coordination. * Oversee the control and management of plant and equipment on-site. 4. Client Liaison: * Act as the main point of contact with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met. * Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. 5. Commercial Control: * Manage the financial aspects of projects, including budgeting and cost control. Qualifications and Skills * Experience: Preferably in the industrial and commercial roofing and cladding sector. * Certifications: * Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) certification. * NVQ at the project or construction manager level. * CSCS Manager Card * Experience in all types of roofing systems such as kalzip, standing seam, metal sheeting, flat roofing – cold/liquid apply etc. * Skills: * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting professionally with laborers, senior site management, and clients. * Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and management capabilities.
