An exceptional opportunity to lead two new children's homes from day one. We are recruiting an experienced Registered Manager to lead two Ofsted-regulated children's homes in Warrington, located just 3 miles apart. This is a rare opportunity to be involved from the very start of registration, building high-quality services from the ground up, supported by a strong senior leadership team. One home is registration-ready now, with the second home due to open later this year, offering excellent earning potential and long-term career progression.
Responsibilities
- Lead the full Ofsted registration process for both homes
- Provide strong, inspirational leadership to staff teams
- Ensure outstanding standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance
- Build a therapeutic, trauma-informed environment
- Develop care plans focused on positive outcomes for young people
- Lead recruitment, supervision, training, and staff development
- Maintain excellent relationships with local authorities, professionals, and families
- Drive continuous improvement and service development
Essential Requirements
- Previously held Ofsted registration in children's residential care (within last 2 years)
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
- Strong knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations 2015 & Quality Standards
- Proven experience leading registrations and Ofsted inspections
- Excellent safeguarding and child protection knowledge
- Passion for therapeutic, trauma-informed care
