We are currently looking for an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join a long-term groundworks package on the South Coast. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who is confident working independently and looking for a stable, long term contract.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years setting out / engineering experience
  • Strong groundworks experience essential
  • Must have AutoCAD on own laptop
  • Own surveying equipment advantageous
  • Able to work independently and manage workload effectively
  • Must be based within commutable distance of the South Coast
  • Full UK driving licence and own transport required
  • Valid CSCS Card essential
  • Reliable and able to commit to the full 35-week programme

Duties

  • Setting out for groundworks package
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings
  • Maintaining site accuracy and quality standards
  • Liaising with site teams and management
  • Producing and maintaining as-built information where required
