Key Responsibilities * Manage all engineering activities on site, ensuring works are delivered safely, accurately and in accordance with the project programme. * Provide engineering control, setting out and technical support to site teams. * Lead quality control processes to ensure all works comply with project specifications, drawings and relevant standards. * Promote and maintain the highest standards of Health, Safety and Environmental compliance across all site activities. * Assist with the management of the permit process, including CAT scanning and issuing permits where required. * Maintain accurate site records, including site diaries, daily works records, resource allocations and as-built information. * Produce and update as-built drawings using AutoCAD. * Liaise with Site Agents, Project Managers, subcontractors and the wider delivery team to ensure efficient project delivery. * Support the successful delivery of highways and civil engineering projects through effective planning, communication and problem solving. Skills & Experience Required * Previous experience as a Site Engineer within highways, civil engineering or infrastructure projects. * Strong knowledge of engineering control, setting out and quality assurance procedures. * Experience working on earthworks, drainage, highways and structures. * Good understanding of the permit process and CAT scanning. * Proficient in AutoCAD and maintaining accurate as-built records. * Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders. * Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced site environment. * Strong communication and problem-solving skills. * Ambitious, proactive and committed to delivering high standards of work. * Full UK Driving Licence (preferred).
