Air Conditioning Sales Executive

Location: London & Southeast
Salary: 30,000 – 40,000 basic + uncapped commission (OTE up to 90,000)

Keyman Recruitment is working on behalf of a well-established and growing HVAC specialist to source a dynamic Air Conditioning Sales Executive . This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional with a strong technical background in air conditioning and ventilation, combined with a passion for sales and customer relationship management.

The Role:

The successful candidate will play a key role in driving business growth by managing the full sales cycle from initial enquiry through to securing new projects. This is a client-facing role requiring technical knowledge, commercial awareness, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site surveys for new project enquiries
  • Prepare and issue detailed quotations for air conditioning and ventilation projects
  • Manage and maintain all customer communications professionally (phone, email, and face-to-face)
  • Follow up on outstanding quotations to maximise conversion rates
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to confirm lead times, costs, and technical details
  • Keep accurate records of enquiries, quotations, and sales performance
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with both new and existing clients
  • Stay updated on the latest HVAC products, technologies, and market trends

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, candidates must have:

  • A minimum of 8 years\’ experience within the air conditioning industry
  • Strong sales ability and experience preparing quotations
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and client-facing skills
  • A proactive, confident, and personable approach to business development
  • IT proficiency including CRM systems and basic marketing tools
  • A valid UK driving licence

Package & Benefits:

  • Basic salary between 30,000 – 40,000 (dependent on experience and pipeline)
  • Uncapped commission scheme with realistic OTE up to 90,000
