Accountabilities:
As a business facing Finance Manager for Keyline, you will be responsible for business partnering the extended leadership teams across sales & operations. The role is key in supporting and challenging the business, providing business insight and KPI analysis to drive well-informed business decisions, driving commercial & sales performance as well as operational effectiveness & efficiency. Supporting the branch network with understanding performance and improving information provided to these teams to drive performance. The role also supports the business facing commercial team to help with commercial insight.
As a Finance Manager for our continuingly growing business, you will:
- Use management accounts, and other reporting, to work with the extended leadership team to understand performance and the drivers of performance.
- Work with the broader finance team to continuously improve reporting, ensuring it is fit for purpose for the various stakeholders across the business and supporting with improving understanding of data and reporting in the wider business.
- Support with measuring the overall business, sub regional, and branch performance against its strategic objectives and a range of key KPIs.
- Provide benchmarking across the business, ensuring the right measures are in place to drive operational effectiveness and efficiency & to maximise time spent on insight and opportunities to add value.
- Drive working capital improvements through engagement with the operation teams, as well as supporting capex investment ensuring that investment cases are created in line with group requirements as well as post investment reviews where appropriate.
Who we are looking for:
- Recognised Accountancy qualification (e.g. CIMA, ACCA, ACA).
- A minimum of 4 years leading month end finance functions.
- Evidence of business partnering.
- Experience of strategic planning; supporting a business to identify strategic opportunities.
- Advanced Excel and spreadsheet skills.
- Ability to interpret data into action orientated insight.
- Proficiency to manage conflicting priorities.
- Awareness of external impacts on the business.
- Highly developed communication skills.
