Class 2 Category C Driver Apprenticeship in Blairgowrie

Right from the start of your career with us, you’ll be supported in your development. You’ll join our Keyline Trusted Delivery Champion Programme, a 12 month Apprenticeship that will give you the tools to be successful in your role and will allow you to achieve your Category C driving license. Over the length of your apprenticeship programme, you’ll explore:

• Our safety culture within branch
• The products we sell and the services we provide
• How to safely load/unload your vehicle
• Category C driver training and attainment of your license

We provide you with a fantastic support network through; 1:1 coaching, mentoring and technical and skills training to enable you to progress your career with us. Along the way, our experienced team will provide you with plenty of support to ensure you get the best out of your Apprenticeship. And it doesn’t have to end here, as we have a suite of Apprenticeship programmes that can support you to continue to develop your career with us, all the way up to the Boardroom.

What will you be doing? There is no such thing as a typical day in Branch life at Keyline but you can take a look at what our colleagues get up to. What you can expect is to gain exposure across a number of areas within your branch, allowing you to see where your strengths and interests lie and the direction you would like to develop your career in.

Your role responsibilities will require you to:

• Move stock (mainly civils, heavy building materials and drainage solutions) in a safe and professional manner from our branches to our customers.
• Load your vehicle in the yard using the HIAB, ensuring the vehicle is properly loaded, safe and in-line with road and transport legislation.
• Perform local multi-drop work, returning back to the branch at least once to reload for your next run.

Please note: Candidates must hold a clean Category B (Car) UK driving license and have held it for at least 12 months to be considered for this opportunity.
