We’re looking for compassionate and motivated Support Workers to join our friendly team in Newton (EX10), providing personalised care and support to adults with learning disabilities. Whether you’re experienced or new to the sector but have relevant transferable skills, we’d love to hear from you.
About the Role
- Supporting individuals with day-to-day living—promoting independence, dignity, and inclusion
- Encouraging social engagement and meaningful activities in the home and community
- Assisting with personal care, medication, and household tasks
- Being a consistent and supportive presence during overnight sleep-in shifts
- Working collaboratively with the team to ensure safe, empowering, person-centred care
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in care, ideally with learning disabilities or similar support needs
- A can-do attitude, reliability, and emotional resilience
- Full UK driving licence (essential) - due to shift patterns and rural location
- Able to commit to at least 2 shifts per week, including long days and sleep-ins
