We’re recruiting on behalf of a warm and supportive Residential Children’s Home in Ashbourne, seeking a dedicated Waking Nights Support Worker to join their close-knit team. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and emotional well-being of the children during night hours.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Providing overnight care, ensuring safety and emotional well-being
- Supporting children with personal care needs in a respectful and dignified way
- Encouraging independence and involvement in daily routines
- Creating a nurturing environment and building positive relationships
- Working closely with other professionals, families, and your team
- Keeping accurate records and promoting safeguarding at all times
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in care (especially with children or learning disabilities) is desirable
- Level 4 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) is a bonus
- Patient, empathetic, and calm under pressure
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Full UK driving licence with business insurance required
