Marketing Assistant | Full Time | Hybrid, Peterhead UK
Your main responsibilities
- Create and edit social media content across our brands, including short-form videos, graphics and photography.
- Schedule and publish approved content in line with our brand guidelines and campaign plans.
- Spot social media trends and bring creative ideas for product and brand launches.
- Reply to comments, messages and mentions, and help build positive online communities around our brands, passing customer enquiries to our Customer Service team where needed.
- Find and contact influencers, write their briefs and agree collaborations, with sign-off from the Marketing Coordinator and Sales & Marketing Director.
- Pack, send and track PR packages and product samples, then track influencer posts and report back on results.
- Help with product photography and keep our library of marketing images and creative assets organised.
A bit about you
- Experience in social media, content creation or marketing - in a job, freelance, or personal accounts.
- Hands-on experience with design and editing tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro), Canva, or CapCut.
- Experience creating and editing short-form video for social media, with a good understanding of TikTok, Instagram and Facebook.
- A strong eye for visual content, branding and detail, and the organisation to juggle several tasks at once.
- Clear written and spoken communication, including confidence talking with influencers.
- Confidence using AI-powered tools to support content creation and idea generation.
- A willingness to learn, take initiative and share fresh ideas, whether you're working on your own or as part of a team.
- Familiarity with scheduling and publishing tools would be advantageous.

Candidates should be based in the Aberdeenshire area. This is an office-based role, with hybrid options available.
