This role would suit someone who enjoys taking ownership of business-critical systems and turning technology into practical business improvements. You'll have ownership of NetSuite and our connected platforms, and work closely with colleagues across Finance, Sales, Operations and Warehousing to improve processes, automate manual tasks, maintain high-quality data and deliver systems that support the business as it grows. You'll also lead the effective use of Microsoft 365 and SharePoint and manage our relationship with our outsourced IT partner.
We'd especially love to hear from you if you have strong NetSuite experience and a track record of delivering practical systems improvements across a business.
Your main responsibilities:
- Acting as the internal owner and primary administrator for NetSuite, managing configuration, permissions, workflows, dashboards and reporting.
- Supporting and optimising connected business systems, including integrations with third-party platforms.
- Managing EDI connections and system integrations, identifying and resolving issues to keep operations running smoothly.
- Leading systems improvement projects from initial scope through to testing, implementation and user training.
- Identifying opportunities to automate processes and introduce practical AI-enabled improvements.
- Owning and prioritising the business systems development roadmap.
- Driving effective use of Microsoft 365, SharePoint and Teams to improve collaboration and document management.
- Managing the day-to-day relationship with our outsourced IT provider, including onboarding, licences, equipment and service performance.
- Supporting colleagues with business systems, creating user guides and helping teams get the most from the tools they use every day.
A bit about you:
- Strong hands-on experience administering and supporting NetSuite, with a good understanding of system configuration, reporting and user support.
- Experience working with system integrations, EDI connections and maintaining high-quality business data.
- A track record of delivering systems improvements that simplify processes and make teams more efficient.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, or wholesale, retail or distribution businesses would be a great advantage, as would a NetSuite certification.
- Comfortable working across different departments, building strong relationships and translating technical concepts into practical business solutions.
- A proactive problem-solver who takes ownership, uses initiative and follows tasks through to completion.
- Well organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A continuous improvement mindset and a genuine interest in automation and AI where it adds value.
