We are recruiting for female Support Workers to join Anni's team in Faifley/Clydebank area.

Anni lives independently with the right support, and she is looking for someone kind to be part of her team.

Anni is 45 and has lived in the Clydebank area all her life.

She has Down Syndrome and has recently been diagnosed with Dementia.

Having Dementia doesn't mean Anni can't live her life; it just means she needs patient, understanding people beside her so she can stay safe, happy and independent in her own home.

Anni is easy‑going and loves a laugh.

She is mischievous and likes playing jokes on people.

Anni loves her family and talking to them is very important to her.

She likes routine, being praised and is at her best with happy, calm, positive people around her.

Anni can find change difficult, or receiving bad news, or too much information at once and needs some calm and patient assistance from her staff and her family at these times.

This can affect Anni's sleep at times and until she is focused on positive things again.

Great support for Anni involves enabling her independence, keeping her safe and spending focused, active time with her.

Anni loves time with her family, eating out, bingo, cinema, her work placement, drama, music and hotel stays on holiday.

Being kind, respectful, good‑humoured and calm, helps Anni lead her best life.

Anni has her own car for getting around and therefore needs drivers too.

A commitment to a person‑centred approach is essential and experience of working with people with Down Syndrome, Dementia/Alzheimer's would be helpful, but not essential as we can offer training and awareness in this.

Applicants should be able to work flexibly as part of the team; we provide support each day with shift patterns including early shifts, backshifts, evenings and weekends.

Key provides excellent professional supervision, support and training, including access to the SVQ Framework and a chance to really make a difference to people's lives.
