Are you passionate about promoting workplace wellbeing and supporting employee health? We’re looking for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join a national Special Educational Needs (SEN) provider in a flexible, part-time, remote position. This is an exciting opportunity to support over 1,500 dedicated staff who deliver care and education to children, young people, and adults with complex needs across the UK.

Location: Home-based with occasional travel to services across England (approximately once a month). Travel expenses covered for visits, including semi-rural sites.

Hours: 24 hours per week. Flexible scheduling across days and times.

Salary: £23,849.28 – £28,304.64 actual (FTE: £39,748.80 – £47,174.40 depending on experience).

About the Role: In this role, you’ll be a key member of the HR team, supporting health across the full employee lifecycle. Responsibilities include:

  • Managing pre-employment health questionnaires and assessments
  • Supporting staff with long- and short-term absence and reasonable adjustments
  • Liaising with external Occupational Health providers and internal HR/ER teams
  • Helping to develop and implement wellbeing initiatives and health programmes
  • Offering clear guidance that balances organisational needs with individual support

What You’ll Need:

  • Nursing qualification with a specialism in Occupational Health
  • Experience advising on employee health and workplace adjustments
  • Strong communication, assessment, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with HR teams
  • Understanding of, or willingness to learn about, the SEN care and education environment
