We’re working with a well-established civil engineering and groundworks contractor delivering a large multi-phase residential development, and they’re looking to bring in a strong Project Engineer to join the team. This is a key role on a flagship scheme, ideal for someone who has delivered residential groundworks packages for subcontractors and is confident managing the full engineering scope on large housing developments.

The Role

  • Driving the technical delivery of:
  • Groundworks, foundations, drainage & infrastructure
  • Setting out & verification (Total Station / GPS)
  • Managing engineers & coordinating subcontractors
  • QA, inspections & compliance
  • RFIs, TQs & as-built documentation
  • Supporting programme delivery & resolving site issues

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Project / Senior Engineer within residential groundworks
  • Strong background delivering infrastructure on housing developments
  • Experience working for groundworks subcontractors is essential
  • Confident leading engineering teams on-site
  • Degree-qualified (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering
