We’re working with a well-established civil engineering and groundworks contractor delivering a large multi-phase residential development, and they’re looking to bring in a strong Project Engineer to join the team. This is a key role on a flagship scheme, ideal for someone who has delivered residential groundworks packages for subcontractors and is confident managing the full engineering scope on large housing developments.
The Role
- Driving the technical delivery of:
- Groundworks, foundations, drainage & infrastructure
- Setting out & verification (Total Station / GPS)
- Managing engineers & coordinating subcontractors
- QA, inspections & compliance
- RFIs, TQs & as-built documentation
- Supporting programme delivery & resolving site issues
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project / Senior Engineer within residential groundworks
- Strong background delivering infrastructure on housing developments
- Experience working for groundworks subcontractors is essential
- Confident leading engineering teams on-site
- Degree-qualified (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering
