We are recruiting experienced Responsible Individuals to provide governance, quality assurance, and improvement support across children’s residential services. This role supports Directors and Senior Leaders in strengthening assurance frameworks, audit discipline, and inspection readiness. It is not a statutory RI appointment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide governance oversight support and QA assurance
- Strengthen QA cadence, audit rhythm, and compliance visibility
- Improve audit trails, evidence packs, and written assurance outputs
- Support improvement planning, accountability tracking, and follow-through
- Engage confidently with senior stakeholders across single or multi-site services
- Contribute to pre-inspection readiness programmes and written submissions where required
Essential Requirements
- Senior operational or governance experience within children’s residential services
- Strong understanding of RI responsibilities, QA frameworks, and regulatory assurance
- Proven audit discipline and attention to evidence quality
- Ability to influence senior leaders calmly and credibly
- Comfortable operating in a support, assurance, and improvement role
