We are recruiting an experienced Registered Manager to lead a regulated children’s residential service in Stafford. This is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for safeguarding, quality, compliance, and service delivery within a highly regulated environment. You will provide strong operational and strategic leadership, ensuring positive outcomes for children and young people while maintaining Ofsted compliance and driving continuous improvement.

The Role

  • Lead the day-to-day operation of a children’s residential service
  • Act as the Ofsted Registered Manager
  • Ensure services meet Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards
  • Lead safeguarding practice, risk management, and care planning
  • Manage staff recruitment, supervision, appraisals, and rotas
  • Work closely with multi-disciplinary professionals and commissioning authorities
  • Develop and deliver the Statement of Purpose and service development plans
  • Manage budgets and maintain inspection-ready documentation
  • Lead the service through inspections and regulatory scrutiny
