We’re looking for an experienced M&E Co-ordinator to drive the successful delivery of mechanical & electrical packages across a diverse portfolio of healthcare, education, and public sector builds. Based in our Wimborne office, you’ll be the key link between consultants, subcontractors, site teams, and clients, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to exceptional standards.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Design & Pre-Construction
  • Review M&E designs, specs & drawings
  • Identify risks, buildability issues & value engineering opportunities
  • Collaborate with consultants & subcontractors
  • Support tendering, procurement & subcontractor selection
  • Project Delivery & Co-ordination
    • Lead day-to-day M&E co-ordination across projects
    • Align installations with programme & other trades
    • Run progress meetings & track actions
    • Oversee submittals, RFIs, drawings & compliance
  • Commercial & Programme
    • Monitor costs, variations & change control
    • Track progress against programme milestones
    • Identify risks early & drive solutions
  • Quality, Compliance & Handover
    • Ensure compliance with UK standards & sector regs
    • Co-ordinate testing, commissioning & handover
    • Deliver full O&M documentation & certifications
  • Health, Safety & Sustainability
    • Champion site safety & CDM 2015 compliance
    • Review RAMS & ensure safe working practices
    • Support energy efficiency & sustainability goals

    What We’re Looking For

    • 5–10 years’ M&E experience in construction
    • Strong background in healthcare, education or public sector projects
    • Relevant qualification (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent)
    • Solid knowledge of UK regs, CIBSE & HTM/HBN/BB standards
    • CSCS card (SMSTS/SSSTS desirable)
    • Confident with MS Office & construction software

    Bonus Points:

    • BIM/Revit/Navisworks experience
    • Experience in live environments (hospitals, schools)
    • Professional membership (CIBSE, IET, CIOB)
