We are expanding our specialist surveying delivery pool and are seeking experienced Stock Condition Surveyors to support large-scale residential housing programmes across South and Greater London. This is a contract role offering consistent work within structured, professionally managed survey programmes.
The Role
- You will independently survey residential dwellings including flats, houses, maisonettes and bungalows, capturing structured condition and compliance data across occupied properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct internal and external dwelling surveys
- Capture building components, attributes and photographic evidence
- Record HHSRS observations and escalate risks where required
- Collect Decent Homes and RdSAP evidence
- Follow structured survey methodologies and photo schedules
- Use tablet-based survey software
- Upload completed surveys within agreed timeframes
- Engage professionally with residents
Requirements
- Essential: Proven experience delivering residential stock condition surveys
- Strong knowledge of building fabric and housing standards
- Confident working independently across estates
- Tablet/mobile data capture experience
- Valid DBS check and full driving licence
- Desirable: DEA qualification
- Experience across social housing or local authority programmes
