We’re supporting a major Southwark-based local authority framework and are seeking an M&E Surveyor to act as the technical lead and validation authority for Mechanical & Electrical survey data.
You’ll be the go-to M&E specialist - ensuring survey outputs are accurate, compliant, and aligned with framework requirements.
Working Pattern
- Hybrid working model
- ~2 days per week working from home (validation, review & reporting)
- ~3 days per week on-site (validation visits, spot checks & team support)
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the M&E technical specialist for the Southwark framework
- Validate & QA-check M&E survey data from field-based surveyors
- Carry out on-site validation visits to confirm accuracy & completeness
- Ensure surveys meet framework specifications & coding standards
- Provide technical guidance, feedback & mentoring to survey teams
- Identify risks, inconsistencies & technical issues early
- Work closely with delivery & QA teams to meet programme targets
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in M&E surveying, inspection or validation roles
- Strong understanding of Mechanical & Electrical building systems
- Experience reviewing, checking or validating survey data
- Background across housing, estates or public-sector portfolios
- Confident with digital data capture tools
- Comfortable overseeing site-based teams
- Able to work autonomously and take ownership of technical quality
Desirable Experience
- Local authority or public-sector framework exposure
- QA, audit, validation or Clerk of Works-style experience
- Familiarity with structured survey specifications & coding frameworks
