We are working in partnership with a leading UK civil engineering contractor delivering a flagship infrastructure scheme in the South. This is an opportunity to join a large-scale, technically complex project and play a key role in one of the most significant infrastructure schemes currently underway in the UK.
Due to continued growth and increasing workload on site, we are looking to appoint an experienced Site Agent to take ownership of key work packages across the project.
As Site Agent, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and successful delivery of a defined section of works, ensuring programme, quality, safety, and commercial objectives are achieved. This is a site-based role on a major long-term infrastructure project.
- Manage day-to-day site operations, including labour, plant, and subcontractors
- Take ownership of key work packages such as earthworks, drainage, and structures
- Work closely with commercial teams on cost control, change, and variations under NEC contracts
- Lead and coordinate site teams, including Sub Agents, Engineers, and Foremen
- Act as a key link between site delivery teams and senior project leadership
Proven experience as a Site Agent on civil engineering or infrastructure projects is required, along with a strong background in earthworks, highways, or water-related schemes. You should have the ability to manage programmes, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary site teams effectively. SMSTS and CSCS are required as a minimum, and an HNC or Degree in Civil Engineering is preferred.
