Regional Estates Supervisor
Location: Exeter, Devon
Working Pattern: Remote with regional travel
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: Circa £40,000 including car allowance
We are looking for an experienced Regional Estates Supervisor to oversee the maintenance, safety and compliance of multiple properties across a regional portfolio.
This opportunity would suit someone with a strong background in Facilities Management, Property Maintenance or Estates Management, ideally within healthcare, social care, education or another regulated environment.
You will work closely with maintenance teams, contractors and operational managers to ensure buildings remain safe, well maintained and compliant with relevant standards.
The role will involve:
- Supervising Maintenance Technicians and coordinating external contractors
- Managing planned and reactive maintenance across multiple sites
- Overseeing work orders, repairs and maintenance schedules
- Ensuring compliance with fire safety, water safety and statutory inspection requirements
- Conducting property inspections and identifying maintenance priorities
- Supporting budgets, cost planning and improvement works
- Managing escalations and responding to urgent estates issues
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records and compliance documentation
- Participating in a regional on-call rota
What we're looking for:
- Experience in facilities, estates or property management
- Previous experience supervising maintenance teams or contractors
- Strong understanding of building maintenance and statutory compliance
- Knowledge of fire safety, water safety and Health & Safety requirements
- Experience managing maintenance schedules, budgets and contractors
- Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple properties and competing priorities
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car
- Willingness to travel regularly across the region
Desirable Experience
Experience within healthcare, social care, education, residential services or other multi-site environments would be particularly beneficial.
