The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.
A multi-skilled service engineer/technician or maintenance engineer/technician with experience of pumping systems and associated controls and systems. You will be responsible for work revolving around pumps and pump systems, water booster sets, pressurisation units, inverters, vacuum degassers, irrigation systems, electric motors, fans, air handling units, plate heat exchangers, waste water pump stations and systems, control panels, pipe work and wiring. Previous experience working with pump maintenance would be of particular interest. An analytical approach to fault finding is essential along with an ability to think outside the box. A current and valid driving licence is essential. You must be flexible towards staying away from time to time and will be expected to be on call, out of normal working hours, periodically (this is done on a rota system).
Job Role
- Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for:
- PPM visits and associated remedial / repair works
- Full mechanical and electrical installations (pipework/valves/pumps/controls)
- Attending reactive/breakdown maintenance and repairs
- Loading/unloading of plant and equipment at our head office and on site
- Scheduled call out cover duties
- Control of parts and spares in van.
- Always adhere to both company and individual client site health and safety requirements
- Attend engineers’ meetings from time to time
