We are seeking an experienced Resident Liaison Officer to support a temporary retrofit heating project in Nottingham. This is a resident-facing, site-based role where you will act as the key link between residents and the project delivery team during works in occupied homes.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the main point of contact for residents throughout the project
- Build trust with tenants, leaseholders, and vulnerable residents
- Clearly explain works, timelines, and access requirements
- Coordinate property access for surveys, installations, and follow-ups
- Manage and resolve resident queries, concerns, and complaints
- Maintain accurate records of interactions, issues, and outcomes
- Support resident meetings, drop-ins, and engagement sessions
- Work closely with site teams and contractors to ensure smooth delivery
- Maintain inclusive communication and safeguarding awareness
- Experience as a Resident Liaison Officer, Tenant Liaison Officer, or Customer Liaison Officer
- Background in social housing, planned works, refurbishment, retrofit, or construction
- Strong resident-facing communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience handling complaints and difficult situations
- Strong organisational and record-keeping ability
- Comfortable working in occupied homes and managing access appointments
- Available immediately or at short notice
- Able to commute to Nottingham NG9 daily
- Experience in retrofit, decarbonisation, or heating projects
- Experience working with vulnerable residents
- Knowledge of heat pumps or energy efficiency projects
