Key Stage Teacher Supply are seeking a patient and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a supportive mainstream school in Skelmersdale, working with 2 pupils who require additional support to access learning, within a Year 6 class. This is a long-term position, supporting pupils within a mainstream classroom environment. The role will involve working on a 1:2 basis, supporting pupils with ASD and Autism in Upper KS2.
The school has a strong focus on inclusive practice and pupil support, with a collaborative staff team and clear support structures in place, making it an excellent opportunity for a SEND Teaching Assistant looking to develop their experience in a mainstream setting.
The timings for the role are as follows:
- Monday, Wednesday: 12pm-3.15pm
- Tuesday, Thursday: Full Days 8.30am-3.15pm
