Key-Stage Teacher Supply is currently looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work across a range of Primary Schools across Bury. This opportunity gives you the chance to support children’s learning, development and well-being in a variety of different school settings and classroom environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide in-class support to teachers and pupils across all years in Primary Schools
- Work with small groups and 1:1 to reinforce learning and offer tailored support
- Monitor and report on pupil progress
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive and safe learning environment
- Promote and support positive behaviour strategies across the classroom
Requirements:
- Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 1, 2 or 3)
- Previous experience working with primary aged children (ideally in a school setting)
- Confidence supporting pupils with a range of learning needs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)
