Key-Stage Teacher Supply is currently looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work across a range of Primary Schools across Lancaster, Kendal, Carnforth and surrounding areas. This opportunity gives you the chance to support children’s learning, development and well-being in a variety of different school settings and classroom environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-class support to teachers and pupils across all years in Primary Schools
  • Work with small groups and 1:1 to reinforce learning and offer tailored support
  • Monitor and report on pupil progress
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive and safe learning environment
  • Promote and support positive behaviour strategies across the classroom

Requirements:

  • Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 1, 2 or 3)
  • Previous experience working with primary aged children (ideally in a school setting)
  • Confidence supporting pupils with a range of learning needs
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)
