We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic ITQ Level 2 Tutor to support learners in completing their Level 2 qualification within a further education setting. You will play a key role in helping students develop practical IT skills, build confidence, and achieve their qualification outcomes.
Schedule:
- Initial period: 6 hours per week, every Tuesday for 3 consecutive weeks to complete the Level 2 qualification.
- Following period: Sessions will reduce to 3 hours per week for continued learner support.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging ITQ Level 2 teaching sessions in a classroom or blended learning environment.
- Provide clear instructions and guidance to support learners in achieving assessment objectives.
- Mark and provide constructive feedback on learner assignments.
- Motivate and support learners to develop practical IT skills and achieve their full potential.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and assessment outcomes.
- Work collaboratively within a further education team to enhance the learner experience.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualification to teach Level 2 ITQ courses.
- Experience teaching in a further education environment or with adult learners.
- Proven ability to deliver engaging and effective tutoring sessions.
- Strong organisational skills to manage teaching and marking workloads efficiently.
