We are working in partnership with a well-regarded education provider in Kendal to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Agriculture Teacher. About the Role:

  • You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging lessons in Agriculture or Land-Based Studies, helping students develop both theoretical knowledge and practical skills relevant to the sector.
  • Key responsibilities include:
  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons in Agriculture and related subjects
  • Teaching topics such as crop production, animal care, sustainability, and land management
  • Supporting students in both classroom-based and practical learning environments
  • Assessing, monitoring, and reporting on student progress

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a relevant teaching/training qualification (e.g. PGCE, CertEd)
  • A background in Agriculture, Farming, Land-Based Studies, or a related field
  • Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for the agricultural industry
  • Experience teaching in a secondary school, college, or vocational setting (preferred but not essential)
  • Industry experience within agriculture or rural sectors (highly desirable)
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
