The Head Teacher of a Nursery School in Bury is looking for a Level 2 or 3 Early Years Assistant to join their team. This role starts in May and is to support Monday to Thursdays each week, 8-4. The nursery is able to be flexible with these hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to children within the nursery
- Monitor and report on children’s progress
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive and safe learning environment
- Promote and support positive behaviour strategies across the nursery
Requirements:
- Level 2 or 3 Early Years and Child Care Qualification
- Previous experience working with Nursery aged children
- Confidence supporting pupils with a range of learning needs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)
