Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in the Kendal area. This role offers the chance to make a real difference in students’ learning and development, supporting teachers in delivering high-quality education.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support classroom teaching and learning activities
- Assist students with special educational needs (SEND) and learning difficulties
- Help prepare and organise teaching materials
- Supervise students during lessons, break times, and school activities
- Monitor and report on student progress and behaviour
- Support the school’s policies and maintain a safe and positive learning environment
Essential Requirements:
- Experience working with children in a school or educational setting
- Understanding of classroom management and behaviour support
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Patience, reliability, and enthusiasm for supporting learning
Desirable:
- Experience supporting students with SEND
- Relevant teaching assistant qualifications or training
- First Aid qualification
