Overview
We’re hiring a piano tutor local or based in Harrow.

Our hiring process for successful candidates would be within 14 days of us sharing interview feedback or sooner.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver 1-2-1 piano lessons which include music theory
- Share student feedback after each class
- Maintain up-to-date records of sessions and progress
- Stay up-to-date with piano and music theory syllabus changes
- Collaborate with team members when you feel unsure about a particular method
- Be available to deliver classes on our agreed hours

- A genuine interest for teaching and supporting students
- Strong subject knowledge
- Ability to build rapport with parents and students
- Non-Negotiables
- To have at least 5 years of piano tutoring experience
- Either live locally (location specified in the job ad) or have a car and valid UK driver’s license to deliver in-home lessons
- Be patient, empathetic, and emotionally intelligent; you’ll be working closely with families and young learners
- Demonstrate strong time management and organisational skills
- Communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
- Have a deep knowledge of piano pedagogy, repertoire, and techniques
- Adaptable teaching methods
- To build and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
- Be open to feedback and aligned with a growth mindset
