SEN Teacher required for a post 16 provision based in central London. The provision caters for young people and adults with severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties. We now have a permanent vacancy to start September 2019 for an experienced teacher or NQT. If you have experience working with young people or adults with complex needs then we would like to hear from you.

As an experienced SEN Teacher you should be a creative individual with the ability to plan and teach your own lessons. The curriculum in the post 16 provision is focused around Personal Progress, Employability Skills and some Functional Skills. Previous experience teaching some or all of these kind of skills in 11-16 or post 16 provision is essential for the role.

The successful SEN Lecturer will be joining a school that is committed to providing a motivating and friendly educational environment. The students enjoy learning and the supportive staff team provide a fantastic environment for you to develop your career and hone your skills. The school offers on-going training, which will give you the opportunity to develop innovative patterns of classroom practice as an SEN Teacher.

There is wide-ranging contribution from the multidisciplinary team including speech and language therapists, physiotherapists and occupational therapists, as well as a highly experienced team of teaching staff.
