The Role:

  • You will be responsible for developing new business opportunities while supporting and growing existing customer accounts.
  • This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where you will provide technical expertise and practical machining solutions directly on-site.
  • Developing and managing customer relationships within your territory.
  • Identifying opportunities to introduce cutting tool and machining solutions.
  • Providing technical advice on tooling selection, machining strategies and productivity improvements.
  • Conducting on-site trials and performance evaluations.
  • Preparing quotations, proposals and technical reports.
  • Working closely with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment and customer satisfaction.
  • Achieving agreed sales and margin targets.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a technical sales or machining/manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of cutting tools and metal machining processes.
  • The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach to business development.
  • A full UK driving licence.
