The
Role
- This role would suit someone who is technically strong, takes ownership of their work and has the ambition to develop into a future production leadership position within the business.
- The successful candidate will initially be hands-on within production, learning their equipment, processes and standards, with the opportunity to progress into a role supporting the day-to-day management of the department
- Operating large format digital print equipment
- Producing high-quality display graphics, signage, retail and exhibition work
- Preparing and running jobs through RIP software
- Colour checking, quality control and troubleshooting
- Maintaining equipment and high production standards
- Working closely with studio and finishing
- Supporting workflow, planning and continuous improvements
- Helping mentor and support other team members as the role develops
Requirements
- Strong large format digital print background
- Experience with flatbed and/or roll-to-roll equipment
- Good understanding of RIP workflows and colour management
- Ability to manage multiple jobs in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience with Swiss Qprint, EFI VUTEk,, Canon Arizona, Caldera RIP would be an advantage
