Position: Large Format Print Finisher

Area: Watford

Salary: £32,000 to £35,000 + Overtime (time + half)

Hours: Monday – Friday 8am - 5pm

The Company: Large Format print & signage company for Retail, Exhibitions, Events, Hotels, Museums.

The Role:

  • Operating a Kongsberg cutting table
  • Set up and operate finishing machinery
  • Finish various materials, i.e., large format prints and vinyl and signage for a range of different projects
  • Inspect and examine printed materials for quality and accuracy, ensuring they meet the client's specifications and requirements and to report any issues to management
  • Liaise with various departments, suppliers and the shop floor to sequence work, secure materials and meet tight deadlines while keeping quality standards
  • Work to Company & client and site Health and Safety procedures
  • Undertake quality control of finished items to ensure they meet standards and to report any issues to management

Requirements:

  • This role requires technical knowledge of Kongsberg Cutters or Zund
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the production process
  • Previous knowledge of working within a large format print production environment
  • Ideally you will be looking to progress and develop existing print skills
