Responsibilities

  • Low-loss filling of the allotted production batches
  • Cleaning and maintenance of the production, laboratory and spray equipment
  • Adherence to quality requirements, reporting to the superior of any standard deviations during batch production or colour matching process
  • Manufacture products in accordance with manufacturing instructions
  • Label batches during the production process
  • Check conformity of the coating material with the correct label/batch number
  • Regular control and filling of the semi-finished products/tinters to be used for production & colormetric
  • Process allotted production orders in the EDP
  • Use mixing technology, e.g., colour measurement computers, per instructions
  • Use tinting techniques per formulation guidelines/instructions
  • Use mixing systems and scales, including cleaning and maintenance as specified
  • Execute all tasks arising from daily job requirements
  • Demonstrate completion and retention of production documents per quality manual
  • Use filling techniques per instructions
  • Colour match various paint systems using semi-finished products and scratch materials
  • Be competent to colour match in solid colour, metallic and effect pigment systems using relevant computer software and manual eye corrections
  • Correctly process Master exchange panels/SAP/EDP set up as instructed
  • Use laboratory paint test equipment such as microscope, rheometer, flow cups, and density
  • Apply paint spray colour design samples for solid, metallic and effect colours
  • Complete and pass Munsell colour vision hue test
  • Pay attention to cleanliness and orderliness
  • Conduct all operations associated with tasks of the production department

General & Operational Requirements

  • Monitor and report market trends, customer trends, and competitive activities within own area of core competence
  • Report as required to management within the company on a regular basis
  • Cooperate closely with the in‑house office/technical teams to ensure continuity of service and provide necessary information
  • Adhere to expenses policy and reporting
  • Be technically and commercially aware of areas of core responsibility within own sector
  • Comply with NDA and confidentiality requirements as directed
  • Comply with IT/GDPR requirements within operational guidelines
  • Comply with health & safety requirements and SSOW

Quality System & Health & Safety

  • Support the control, update, management and adherence of the company quality management systems and requirements in line with corporate policy
  • Adhere to health & safety policy to meet statutory UK health and safety act requirements
  • Perform any other reasonably requested activity in support of the above

Site Management

  • Record and control all records relating to equipment servicing within the site related to production and technical equipment
  • Perform any other reasonably requested activity in support of business requirements
