The ideal candidate will have significant insights and analytics leadership experience and possess a strong commercial instinct. There is a need for deep BI reporting expertise such as Power BI, Tableau as well as strong SQL literacy. The ideal candidate will be a strong people leader – a clear communicator, constructively challenging, with a customer and compliance mind and focussed on outcomes. They will also have a governance mindset and be able to build a strong partnership with Data Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Insight Strategy & Leadership

    • Build scalable self‐serve dashboards.
  • Commercial, Customer & Operational Insight
    • Partner with Commercial and Operations to improve performance.
    • Segment performance and diagnose drivers.
    • Lead forecasting, modelling and deep‐dive analytics.
  • Customer Outcomes & Regulatory Insight
    • Support good customer outcomes and early risk detection.
    • Provide evidence‐based reporting to governance forums.
  • Data Partnership & Governance
    • Define metric and reporting requirements.
    • Partner with Data Engineering without owning engineering delivery.
    • Maintain data-quality standards and controls.
  • Process Management & Continuous Improvement
    • Establish reporting and analysis processes.
    • Drive automation and process optimisation.
    • Align processes to operational and audit standards.
    • Integrate AI tools as appropriate to improve delivery and capacity.

Within the first 6–12 months, the successful candidate will have established trusted, reliable performance insight for senior leadership, embedding standardised definitions and reporting across the organisation.
